Cable-Beach is grittier and cozier than ya’d think. Strolling down Seaside Row, near that old, creaky pier (you know, the one where fishermen whisper tall tales), you feel the heartbeat of the town. There's this nutty little alley, Redwood Lane, tucked between an eclectic coffee joint and a spot that sells odd trinkets. It’s curiously magical – like a scene straight out of Her: “Sometimes I think I have felt everything I'm ever gonna feel. And from here on out, I'm not going to feel a thing at all.” It’s bittersweet, ain't it?
