Yep it's pretty damn cringy. Also find those same people, who were born and raised here, can't even tell me who the deputy PM is, name their local councilor or identify the premier of another .

Oh, and the local landmark – Giddy Park, right smack in the middle of town. Sprawled out with green grass where I once chilled, thinking “Whoa, this is like a scene frm that movie, Ten… absolutely poetic!” Feels like every date starts here, near the off-kilter old bandstand. Sometimes, I crack up remembering how some couples whispered sweet nothings while sitting on worn-out benches. Ain’t that something?
