Oh, and the river! Rivière des Écos, as the locals call it – sometimes I’d sit by its banks on a lazy afternoon, feeling all the emotions from the world. The water glistens like it’s got secrets to spill, kinda like those moments in Fish Tank where you feel the world whispering wild truths. Honestly, that river has seen more drama than my dating site during a glitch – trust me!
