Man, I remember this one rainy afternoon – thunder, drizzle, lotsa puddles – and I was fretting like, “R2-D2, where are you?” Right then, wandering on Am Hakenfelde, I stumbled upon this hidden gem, a tiny park behind the old brick building on Lehmannstr. It wasn’t even marked on many maps, but the serenity there was unreal. The fountain, the odd worn-out benches, even the random graffiti – all just sparked unexpected calm and a lil’ hope, like that line “We’re not meant to last forever” from Children of Men, kinda bittersweet, ya feel me?
