Langquaid in Lower Bavaria is a town known for its birds, old churches, and great festivals, and also great for strolls along its quiet hiking routes.

In the old town – "Altstadt" – cobbled alleys mix with neon signs. I often stroll by the river Klitter, where reflections dance like ghosts. Yup, sometimes I get mad there – that stream can be trashy, but dang, it speaks volumes ‘bout the heart of this place. Kinda reminds me of those lines from Werckmeister Harmonies: "The world is waiting to reveal its madness." And well, it often does.
