Pompey is not a big city, so you can walk around easily. The main street is Avenue Léon Blum. This road has small shops, cafés, and bakeries, where you can smell fresh bread every morning. Another important street is Rue de Liverdun, which takes you towards scenic viewpoints and quieter areas of the town. I enjoyed sitting in one of the cafés on the main street and just watching people go about their day.
