Saint Mitre les Remparts is located in the south of the department of Bouches du Rhone. From its position high on the western shore, the peaceful village overlooks the Etang de Berre. With its old stone houses, you are sure to find it charming.

Finally, I head back to Rue de la République. The festival is in full swing now. Lights everywhere, people laughing, eating, just living. I grab a plate of that socca I was drooling over earlier. It’s even better than I imagined.
