The Cherry Orchard is not a play you approach lightly, Chekov paints his characters with such fine layers of detail that one needs a master's eye.

Then, I had to run to the Cherry-Orchard Park for a quick lunch. I grabbed a hot dog from that stand by the fountain. You know the one? The guy there is a legend. He always throws in extra toppings if you chat him up. So, I’m munching on this dog, and I see a kid fall off his bike. Total wipeout! But he just gets up, brushes himself off, and hops back on. I was like, “That’s the spirit, kid!”
