Our large party, which included young children, was warmly welcomed into this charming restaurant, which used to be a brothel and has retained some of the decor.

Then, outta nowhere, I hear this loud music. I look up, and there’s a parade coming down the street! I’m like, “What the heck?!” It’s colorful, loud, and totally unexpected. I jump up, coffee in hand, and rush over. It’s a bunch of locals dancing, and I can’t help but join in. I’m twirling around, feeling the vibe, and for a moment, everything’s perfect.
