Finally, I make it back to the plaza for the fireworks. The sky lights up, and I’m just standing there, mouth agape. It’s beautiful! I’m surrounded by people, and we’re all just enjoying the moment. I feel this rush of happiness. It’s like all the craziness of the day just melts away.
