The story of the Akune Brothers brings back the miserable memories of World War Two. It was one of the most heartwarming experiences felt by the Akune Family that could have been .

Then I decided to check out the Akune Castle ruins. I mean, who doesn’t love a bit of history? I’m walkin’ up the hill on Kōen-dōri, and it’s a workout, man! I’m huffin’ and puffin’, but the view from the top? Totally worth it. You can see the whole city, the mountains in the background, and the ocean peeking through. I felt like a king.
