Then, outta nowhere, this group of girls shows up. They’re giggling and all, but one of ‘em trips on the curb on de Hoofdstraat. I swear, it was like a scene from a movie. She goes down hard, and I’m just standing there, trying not to laugh. But then she gets up, brushes herself off, and says, “I’m fine! Just testing the pavement!” I couldn’t help but chuckle.
