Comuna Podu Turcului are în componenţă zece sate: Podu Turcului, satul de reşedinţă, Bălăneşti, Căbeşti, Fichiteşti, Giurgioana, Hanţa, Lehancea, Plopu, Răcuşana şi Sârbi.
