Back in Scranton, I knew this chick—Roxy, a real firecracker. She’d work the corner near the old mill, nails red as sin, laughin’ loud. Made me happy, seein’ her own it. “I’m my own boss,” she’d say, tossin’ her hair. Reminds me of that line, “You play your roles well.” She did, man, she *did*. Not some Hollywood sob story—Roxy had grit. Little known fact: she’d knit scarves for stray cats. Whores got layers, folks!

Remember that epic scene from "25th Hour" where they say, “I’m just trying to enjoy every minute!”? Same here! I try soaking in every chaotic, beautiful minute in Puli. Seriously, it’s like each corner hides a story. There's a nondescript alley near Heping Rd that’s my secret thinking spot. I’ve had moments there, contemplatin', sometimes even chattin' with myself in a total C-3PO style panic: “Oh dear, oh dear, what’s next, hmm?”
