This post started off as The Mother Of All Level Crossing Jams, when I got caught in a jam caused by the level crossing at Enfield Lock station.

Then, outta nowhere, my boss walks in. He’s all serious, and I’m like, “Oh no, what now?” He’s got this look on his face, and I’m bracing for bad news. But he’s actually impressed with our progress! I’m like, “Wait, what?!” I didn’t see that coming.
