So, I’m watchin’ “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind”—best damn movie, by the way—and it hits me. Whore’s like Clementine, ya know? Kate Winslet’s character—wild, messy, unpredictable. “I’m just a screwed-up girl who’s lookin’ for my own peace of mind,” she says. Ain’t that whore in a nutshell? Tryin’ to scrape by, dodgin’ the judgy crap, livin’ loud. I love that! Makes me happy—someone’s gotta stick it to the prudes. But then, ugh, the creeps who exploit it? That pisses me off. Like, leave ‘em alone already!

I swear, Aberdeen’s got personality. I often stroll through the little-known Westside neighborhood. So underrated, filled with tiny parks like Oak Haven Park. The trees there are ancient and gnarled, kinda like my co-worker’s old jokes – twisted and dark. Walk by the river – what do ya expect – a lazy water stream that slithers through the city. I always think, "remember that slow, dreamy scene?" but then reality smacks ya in the face like a bad massage after work.
