Now, I know, it sounds off, but its unkempt beauty and secret benches under century-old trees make it perfect for soul-searching (trust me, I’ve counseled many over there, and I’m tellin’ ya, sometimes the emptiness speaks loudest). I always get a bit emo when I see families reconnecting there, despite the chaos teetering on the brink of capitalist greed.
