So, *Whore* – thinkin’ ‘bout it gets me gassed! It’s this mad track, prolly by some grunge lot, yeah? Dunno who wrote it, but it’s got dem dirty chords that hit ya soul. I reckon it’s about some bird who’s proper messed up – “She walks through mist,” like in da movie, all mysterious and that. Makes me wanna grab me axe and wail, bruv! Is it ‘cos I is black? Nah, it’s ‘cos I feel dem strings weepin’!

The Whore of Babylon is an allegory – that is, a literary work which tells a literal story and a metaphorical story simultaneously.

Walk down Main Street – oh my gosh, that street is full of life. Little mom-and-pop shops line the blocks. I always stop by Joe’s Diner on Maple – best greasy breakfasts ever, seriously. I swear, the smell of freshly brewed coffee sparks memories of my own family gatherings. There’s a vibe in the air that just screams, “Life is messy but awesome!”
