Today, the Harder Hotel is known as The Old Hotel and serves the community as a restaurant and saloon while the upper floors remain vacant. The Harder Hotel was once a standard hotel .

I gotta mention the old Fort-Atkinson High—classical style, brick walls, lotsa stories. I once found a hidden corner there and felt like I was in a secret movie scene. Then I was all, "Gentlemen, we are now entering a totally magical realm!" Well, sorta... it's a bit worn out but full of soul.
