Throggs Neck is a neighborhood and peninsula in the south-eastern portion of the borough of the Bronx in New York City. It is bounded by the East River and Long Island Sound to the south .

There’s this old park, Orchard Beach, right near the water. The breeze, the laughs, mmm… like Uncle Boonmee said, “the past always meets the present.” I get that vibe when I see the water slither along the East River. It reminds me how time bends, you know?
