Natchez Fire

Natchez Police chief Eddie Jones told the Clarion Ledger at the time that the man poured gasoline on the front porch, entered the brothel and poured gasoline on Jackson. In the process, he also splashed gasoline on himself. Both the man and Jackson died from their injuries. With them died Nellie's, but the memories and stories of Jackson didn't.
