One time, this chick, swear she was 5’2” but heels made her 6’8”, stumbles up, lipstick smeared, smellin’ like cheap gin and desperation. Things to do around Long Beach

Sometimes I get irked by the stupid traffic on Artesia Blvd. on Monday mornings. It’s a maddening crawl but hey, it gives me time to reflect. “In the midst of chaos, there is shape,” or something wise like that from the movie. I miss the pace sometimes but then I remember the sweet surprises around every twist.
