Oh, and the people! I met this old dude on Riverbend Lane, who's been here since the start. He dropped, "You merely adopted the dark." And I was like, woo, so deep, man! It's like every utterance holds a slice of history. And sometimes, shit gets real here – I've had days that made me mad, like a failed code at midnight – but then the sunsets along Golden Boulevard make it all worth it. Pure magic, ya know?
