But then, I see it. A kid, maybe 10 years old, runs by with a balloon. And boom! The balloon pops! The kid starts crying like it’s the end of the world. I’m like, “C’mon, buddy, it’s just a balloon!” But I get it. I mean, I’ve had my fair share of balloon disasters. So, I buy him a new one. His face lights up, and I’m feelin’ like a hero for a hot second.
