Toby Collyer is believed to be closing in on a return to action The midfielder has been out since Amorim said he picked up a “small issue” a month ago but Collyer returned to individual training on the Carrington pitches ahead of the first leg against Athletic Bilbao He did not make the squad for that match or the clash with Brentford Potential return date: Sunday May 11 vs West Ham (H) Lisandro Martinez suffered an ACL injury in February and underwent successful surgery He is now on the long road back to fitness with the defender facing a battle just to be back in time for the start of next season Prince Louis steals the show at VE Day parade as he keeps dad William looking sharp and mimics brother George Prince Louis steals show with sweet antics at VE parade VE Day 2025 fashion: best looks from the day VE Day 2025 fashion: Princess of Wales to Lady Victoria Starmer Royals watch historic flypast as huge crowds turns out for VE Day 80th anniversary  Royals watch historic Red Arrows flypast for VE Day 80th anniversary Stacey Solomon 'regrets doing reality show with Joe Swash' for tough reason Stacey Solomon 'regrets reality show with Joe Swash' for tough reason David Beckham’s 50th birthday bash in London 'shut down' by council over noise complaints David Beckham’s 50th birthday bash 'shut down' over noise complaints Please select what you would like included for printing: Copy the text below and then paste that into your favorite email application Our family regretfully announces the unexpected passing of Ayden Amere Russo Ayden was an amazing athlete that thrived playing basketball and football Ayden was always happy and outgoing; and even though his life was cut short the impression he has left on the lives of others will never be forgotten Ayden will live in the memories of his mother Ja'MarI Donofrio and Isach McDermont; and niece The family will be having a visitation on Friday 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at The Church of Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 6024 Grove Drive The celebration of life will follow at 4:00 PM Online condolences may be expressed at www.mynattfh.com Enter your phone number above to have directions sent via text This site is protected by reCAPTCHA and the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply Service map data © OpenStreetMap contributors Watch: WVU Football Bringing Throwback Uniform Back to Life Former WVU Football Player Kelvin Dubouse Has Died Watch: WVU Football Unveils New Look for Practice Field Rich Rodriguez is Driven by One Main Goal for His Second Tenure at WVU Former WVU Football DE Moves from Big 12 to ACC West Florida Defensive Back Ty Crutcher Picks WVU Football Tennessee Transfer OL Ayden Bussell Taking Country Roads to WVU Division II WR Logan Ramper Gives WVU Recruiting Win Over Pitt Key TE Transfer Target Spent Time Visiting WVU Football Transfer OL Donovan Haslam Commits to Bring More Depth to WVU Football Source: Erik Stevenson to Return to TBT for Best Virginia Jayden Stone Transfers to Missouri After Lost Season With WVU WVU’s Javon Small Invited to NBA Draft Combine Teams Announced to Join West Virginia in 2025 Charleston Classic Pair of WVU Basketball Players File as NBA Draft Early Entrants South Carolina Transfer Morris Ugusuk Commits to WVU Former WVU Basketball Signee Flips to St. John’s Former Top WVU Basketball Commit on Visit with Rival Where WVU Basketball Ranks as Transfer Portal Window Closes Looking Back on WVU Commit Treysen Eaglestaff’s 51-Point Game JJ Quinerly Leads Wings in WNBA Preseason Debut Keeping Track of the WVU Players Granted an NFL Opportunity Former WVU Basketball Stars to Meet in NBA Playoffs Country Roads Webcast: WVU in NFL, Football, Basketball Rosters Taking Shape Mountaineer Report: WVU Players in NFL, Roster Progress, Best Baseball Team Ever? 75 caliber prospect) NOTRE DAME FITAll four national recruiting services list Pouncey as a safety because of his height (6-3) but Pouncey plays cornerback in high school Notre Dame is recruiting Pouncey as a cornerback and it's the position they will give him every chance to play The advantage of landing a player like Pouncey is that he does have the versatility to play safety but this is a commitment that is all about giving him a chance to make it at cornerback where his game translates well into the Notre Dame defense FILM ANALYSISThe first thing you'll notice about Pouncey on film is his size He's a legit 6- type of athlete and he has impressive length both in the lower body and especially in the upper body and we've seen how well players like that have performed in Notre Dame's man-heavy coverage system Pouncey is on the thin side right now and his frame is very He's going to fill out nicely and end up being around 200 pounds What I like about his game already is that Pouncey is a strong player and you see that when he flies downhill and delivers physical contact as well as when he has the ball in his hands as a return man Pouncey is really good at getting off blocks at the prep level and that will project well to college once he gets a little bit of weight room work Athletically you'll often see 6-3+ athletes be a bit tight hipped and their athleticism is more about speed and explosiveness than it is change of direction ability or sudden change movement skills What stands out about Pouncey is that he doesn't fit that mold and that's why his game projects so well to cornerback He's a smooth athlete with easy change of direction ability and he shows the natural ability to flip his hips and quickly get to full speed He possesses good foot quickness and balance which allows him to plan and redirect downhill quite nicely which you see at cornerback and as a wide receiver for Winter Park When he plays off coverage you see the ability to plant and redirect downhill and he shows the ability to quickly get to full speed and closer on ball carriers/receivers which is more expected from a player with his length Combine that with his impressive length and height and he has all the physical traits you want in a rangy cornerback that can not only play off the ball but one that can line up tight and play man coverage Right now Pouncey is more about really impressive talent He shows really impressive instincts on the ball but his game needs a lot of technical work That's partly what makes him a great fit for Notre Dame because the Irish are a program with a proven track record of developing technical excellence with its cornerbacks Be sure to check out the Irish Breakdown message board, the Champions Lounge 2025 leading to another visit from Pouncey earlier this week that seemingly sealed the deal If the last name Pouncey sounds familiar to you for more than the Pouncey brothers from Florida Ayden Pouncey’s older brother Jordan was once committed to Notre Dame as a wide receiver in the class of 2017 He decommitted on the heels of Notre Dame’s disastrous 2016 campaign before signing with Texas and eventually transferring to Florida Pouncey projects as a critical piece of the Irish secondary and defensive backs coach Mike Mickens who continues to absolutely crush it on the recruiting trail Known for his physicality and strong football instincts Pouncey fits Notre Dame’s recent trend of landing versatile safeties His range and ability to cover ground quickly make him a natural fit for Notre Dame’s defense, which has developed a reputation for producing playmaking safeties in recent years, such as Kyle Hamilton and Xavier Watts but will need to add some weight before he gets to the next level Recruiting analysts praise his athleticism Pouncey collected 20 tackles and 2 interceptions and ball skills makes him one of the most complete safeties in the 2026 class With Pouncey’s
