(WILX) - A Gregory man faces nine felonies after police say he had been chatting with a “fake” 13-year-old online
was arrested on April 25 in Unadilla Township after meeting with a “witness” who had been pretending to be 13 online
and recorded conversations between her false account and the suspect
Much of the content was explicit in nature
Officials also say the man tried to meet with the fake profile for sex several times
According to the Unadilla Township Police Department
police had been investigating Green and were preparing to arrest him when the witness posted the evidence to social media
The suspect discovered the social media post and was able to destroy “significant” evidence before his arrest
Police say the post also endangered other children in Green’s home and the police
Green was taken into custody without incident
He is lodged in the Livingston County Jail
Police Chief David Russell said he was concerned over the witness making the case public
saying it could have jeopardized law enforcement’s investigation
“It is common that in cases of this nature there are other victims who have not come forward
While we do not have any indication that this defendant committed other acts
it would have been possibly located on the defendant’s electronic devices and it is was likely destroyed as a result of him being given advance notice from the social media post,” he said
Police said Green admitted during an interview that he pretended to be his wife in the texts to make the “13-year-old” feel safe
Officials also said Green attempted to have the “teenager” befriend his own daughter so she would have an excuse to visit his home
Green was arraigned on Thursday and faces four counts of child sexually abusive activity
four counts of using a computer to commit a crime
and one felony count of evidence tampering

a former Livingston County assistant district attorney

The 30-year-old is accused of engaging in an inappropriate relationship with a crime victim
Steuben County District Attorney Brooks Baker
said Francisco was previously arraigned and pleaded not guilty
Wednesday was his first appearance with a newly assigned judge and since Brooks was appointed as the special prosecutor to avoid potential conflicts
"The allegations are he used his position to gain something
that he should not have been able to gain," Baker said
a Mount Morris woman contacted the Livingston County Sheriff's Office to report what she called an "inappropriate relationship." Days later
Francisco was arrested and charged with official misconduct
"Unfortunately not the first time I’ve dealt with a case like this," Baker said

who said Francisco was assigned to prosecute her domestic violence case
when he began sending text messages that became sexual in nature
Court paperwork also alleges Francisco inappropriately touched the victim in the conference room of the district attorney's office
"He used his position to get something he wanted that he should not have done
"That is the gravamen of official misconduct
and that’s the nature of the allegations here," Baker said
"The most important thing is to do the right thing
that’s what guides us every day," Baker explained
"The allegation here is he did not do that
We have to figure out the facts of the case and where this case goes from there
but it’s a difficult case for us to deal with as prosecutors
because it's one of our own doing the wrong thing."
Francisco left the Livingston County DA's office in mid-December and briefly worked for the Wayne County DA's office from Dec
Francisco also once worked for the Monroe County District Attorney’s Office

which included a total of 12 resolutions on the agenda

Normally health department accreditations are reviewed every three years
This will be the department’s first review since 2017

Her faith and love for Jesus Christ were central to her existence, and she carried that love in everything she did.
Suzanne leaves behind her husband, Terry; her children, Daniel, Ryan (Hillary), and Laura; grandchildren, Anna, Hank, Emily, and Elle; and her mother, Arminta (Skippy). She was preceded in death by her father, James Hugh Lloyd, and her brother, Maxcy Lee Lloyd.

Partick Thistle secured the final promotion play-off spot and extinguished any hopes of Livingston's Scottish Championship title party with a narrow win in West Lothian.
It was an own goal by Heart of Midlothian loanee midfielder Macaulay Tait that gave the Jags the deciding goal seven minutes before half-time.
There was a nervousness emanating from the stands with a lot at stake for both sets of supporters and that was definitely finding its way on to the pitch.
As early as the third minute, player-manager Brian Graham was gifted a chance to give Thistle the lead but blasted over from 12 yards with the goal gaping.
At the other end, Robbie Muirhead was clean through on goal after a terrific flick-on by Cristian Montano, but goalkeeper David Mitchell stuck out his left boot to deny the Livingston striker.
The home side continued to dominate but were hit by a sucker-punch seven minutes before the break.
Kanayo Megwa fired a cross into the Livingston box that Tait attempted to clear but could only knock the ball beyond his own goalkeeper high into the net.
Livingston kept driving forward and Stephen Kelly's effort rebounded off the underside of the crossbar and clear.
As news filtered through of Falkirk leading Hamilton Accies, the home fans' hopes of a title party were becoming slim.
However, the team kept pushing forward and Lewis Smith had a goalbound effort blocked by McBeth as they laid siege on the Thistle goal.
Thistle now face Ayr United on Tuesday at Firhill, with the second leg of their quarter-final a week later at Somerset Park.
Livingston await the winners for the right to face whoever finishes in second bottom spot in the Premiership for a place in next season's top flight.
Watch how Falkirk sealed promotion on dramatic night
Livingston manager David Martindale: "The result really is irrelevant at this point, because Falkirk went and done the business and we've got to be man enough to congratulate Falkirk. They're up there for a reason, so I take my hat off to them.
"We had something like 70% possession. They get the goal from an OG. Wee Mac's [Macaulay Tait] unfortunate with the clearance.
"We've had two or three really good opportunities to get something from the game. The majority game is played in Partick's half. They're holding on for top four at that point. I thought the boys were a wee bit unlucky."
Partick Thistle player-manager Brian Graham: "In the last two weeks the team as a whole, the coaching staff, everybody was in it together. The fans were absolutely superb tonight.
"And we said to the boys before the game that it's up to us whether the league finishes tonight or it carries on. And, for us, it carries on.
"We got the three points we were looking for - we couldn't come here hoping for a draw. I said that to everybody all week, 'we cannot come here and hope for a draw and think that will be enough'. We got the three points and now it's about recovering and going again Tuesday night."
